Could you shed some light and maybe give us some pointers on maybe who will be there? I seen a few places are having Kamala and another is having Al Snow coming in, is there any chance that some name will be there?

I seen a few places are having Kamala and another is having Al Snow coming in, is there any chance that some name will be there? Chances are a "big name", as you say, being on this show is not going to happen. Big Daddy used to bring in Greg Valentine and Bob Orton, among others, but hasn't donw so since last Summer. But don't let that be your deciding factor, as he does have talent on his shows, such as Mark Sterling from Kansas City and Mike Sydal from St. Louis (brother of Evan Bourne). Now I don't know if they will be on this show on the 4th, hopefully they are, but if not I'm sure he's working on a great lineup.

Myself, Mike Sydal, Mark Sterling, Jeremy Wyatt and most of the other talent will be working PWE in Springfield on April 4th against Shane Rich, Arik Cannon, Dingo and Ryan Phoenix, respectively. Other names such as Markus Crane and others will not be there on this evening.

I went to the most recent WPPF show on Saturday and it was really bad. It was good in spurts but overall, it was a waste of money. I've attended some shows in the area... but the difference in quality is amazing.
I can't remember who was who because they didn't even have a ring announcer... so how were the fans supposed to know who was coming to the ring?... the match with the guy who I assume is Mike Sydal was good but the skinny white dude he teamed with was terrible. One of the title matches was really bad.
A masked luchadore and a guy in a black singlet... it may have been one of the most poor matches I've ever seen. They put the title on that guy? He sucks.
The main event was really, really bad... If this guy is going to run shows then he needs to stay out of the ring. Four fat guys who looked completely untrained rolling around. Then some guy with Ultimate Warrior's face paint... and a blond haired guy who got pinned.
I think he got two moves in the entire 20 minute match. Some of the wrestlers also got together at the music area and were talking after their matches and creating noise since the crowd was so dead. It was funny at first... but they really didn't need to do that.
I'd like to see Dr. Death vs. Mark Sterling. Any of the entertaining guys from the show... Wayne Weems who i've seen in SCW... The black guy and the white guy who danced at the beginning of the show were funny... There's a few others but I don't know their names.
Krotch is funny and I love watching him wrestle and Tank Roberts is a big dude... Why isn't he wrestling Dr. Death?

Big Daddy, a word of advice from me to you:
Instead of offering free tickets to people who gave their thoughts on the show, how about you listen to their criticism and put on a BETTER show on April 4th? The fans ultimately decide what's over and what's not. They pay money to see the show and it's their right to praise or run-down what they just watched when it's complete. As a worker, I can say that I was one of the wrestlers sitting up on the platform making noise because the crowd WAS dead, especially during the Sterling/Wyatt vs. Sydal/Onslaught match. I watched the entire show once my two matches were complete and while I could post my overall thoughts on the show, I'm going to refrain. But for MONTHS, whenever someone posts a negative topic/comment/thread about you or your shows, the first thing you do is jump to the defenses and say you're going to give away tickets, etc. You're a promoter, which means you're supposed to be a business man. Instead of trying to paper your show to ensure that this person comes to watch the show, listen to their thoughts, as well of the thoughts of others. The fans come to see the wrestlers you book. If 3/4ths of the roster sucks in their opinion (and the opinion of most of the workers who DON'T suck, but that's a different story) why not LISTEN to them and be flexible? It may help your show.
Right now, you've got a guy like Jason Collins or even Coach Havens. They're rookies, but they can WORK. They've got talent, charisma and have a great attitude. I know this for fact. They should be highlighted. Together they put on excellent matches. Why are they not highlights of your show when it comes to booking? You brought in Mike, Mark and Jeremy and had them work each other. Wise move, but then you team them with a guy who obviously didn't know what he was doing in the ring and was botching things left and right. I know this because I watched the match. Ask the participants in the match their thoughts and they'll tell you the same, I'm sure. But those guys, if PAID and brought in regularly should be main eventing your shows.
The thing is Brian, is that the potential is there but you find a way to burn the bridges of not only the workers (because lets face it, you KNOW that not every worker got paid...) and the fans who ultimately both come to work your show and watch your show, respectively. Instead of responding and lashing out, how about you actually *gasp* MAKE SOME CHANGE! For months, people have been running you and your promotion down. Maybe you should start making necessary moves to make them praise you instead of sh*t all over you.
Get rid of the guys who have no business in a ring, or hurt people in the ring due to their lack of knowledge of how to be safe in the ring. I told you during the show my thoughts on one particular person who has no business in a ring and I'm willing to guarantee he'll be at the next show when it's MORE than apparent that he shouldn't be "wrestling". Get it together and try to make the April 4th show better rather than a carbon copy of every WPPF show in the last year.
