Show is still on despite 8-14 inches of snowfall. Be careful out there.
Edit: Nevermind.

The 8 person scramble may be down to 6. The other two were supposed to be two people who impressed Tom Pritchard at the rise seminar that day. Pritchard's flight has been cancelled so no seminar...and no two people to be picked from it to compete.

When did Chicago become filled with a bunch of weather puss**s? If Tom Pritchard can't fly in, what would happen if half the guys from out of state that are booked are stuck in traffic?

They have enough local dudes so they can have a show. It's not just a Freelance or a wrestling thing, but in general. People have become weather puss**s cause they listen to everything our sh*t local media says and cause they think they are supposed to think it's a big deal. This isn't even that bad. 5-7 inches of snow shouldn't be a big deal. When it gets like 15+, I get it.

That s**t local media and the National Weather Service said it was going to be nasty. They got it right. If I was a promoter and I knew young fans and wrestlers were driving into this weather from near or far and not all of them knew how to drive in this weather, would I be able to run a show with a clear conscience if somebody got hurt or killed traveling to my show? Yeah, that happens all the time, but things are more likely to go wrong in weather like this. Furthermore, would you risk losing money on a show if you weren't sure paying fans may not make it? Freelance did the right thing. Going to a show with predetermined fights is not the way I want to die.

When did Chicago become filled with a bunch of weather puss**s? Lol, I work in construction, my office was open and I we had crews across the city working as normal. It was a snowfall, no storm or blizzard, so my guys were kicking ass and setting steel.

If Freelance is worrying about somebody from Palos Heights they shouldn't exist. sh*t local media was wrong a bunch of times. Couldn't even get the times right. They always act like it's gonna be terrible so people will keep watching their crappy news. As for the boys/girls working the show....you are paid to show up to work, you go. I went to work today. My mailman delivered mail today but a wrestler can't make a drive for a 9pm show when it's not over 15+inches? I'm just saying if I had tickets tonight I'd be pissed.
