Remember when the shows were half the price and twice as better?

What about organizing an official "unofficial" after party at Cigars and Stripes? I'm sure if we told the wrestlers there would be food and alcohol we could pack the place.

Remember when the shows were half the price and twice as better? I'm not sure it was better, but I did like the mix of the upcoming Midwest stars mixed with the locals/Iowa guys. I miss Krotch & Sea-man. Wow, my mind is in the gutter. What about organizing an official "unofficial" after party at Cigars and Stripes? I'm sure if we told the wrestlers there would be food and alcohol we could pack the place. RIP, Michael Anthony's. So many guys booked on Sundays now, I doubt they can stick around to party.

Ahhhh.....the Iowa Boys.
I miss Knight Wagner, Shane Hollister and Matt Cage. Screw Marek Brave tho. I once tweeted them to start a stable called the Iowa Boys or the Iowa 4. I think Cage and Shane retweeted it....never happened sadly.
Yeah I haven't been to a show since March 2015 and the last great time I had at a show was April 2014.
I miss the 15 buck ticks, the Pizza and the good wrestling crowds, not the hipsters and the sensitive losers who go nowadays.

Remember Marek Brave's insane botch at IWA during Mania weekend? Saw that live sitting behind the hard cam. Surreal. In hindsight, he was lucky he wasn't killed. Upon further review, why anybody was flying off those loose ropes is beyond me.

I wondered at the time if that wasn't an insane planned spot.

I wondered at the time if that wasn't an insane planned spot. No one plans to make botchmania. They just do.

I have an extra second row ticket to Saturday's show as my friend had to bow out. The ticket is paid for so I only ask that you pay whatever you can (i.e. If you're low on funds the ticket is free)... and I do accept payment in beer and/or whiskey. I live in the far north suburbs so if you're anywhere along that journey to Berwyn I can pick you up. If you are further north than me you can park at my house and I can drive. As for myself, I am just a fairly normal dude with a wife and kids who likes a good wrestling show now and again. If you're open to getting a beer before the show, even better. Feel free to message me here or email adamgholland at G mail.
