Ian teaches us the valuable lesson that life can be a gamble sometimes.
Wrong !!!! Ian taught us that dipping (another word for stealing) is now an acceptable practice as long as you do not go to jail. let's hope that nobody in his family gets sick and that he does not get behind on paying his bills. Otherwise, he will be forced to shut down and reopen for the 63rd time and again prove that PT Barnum was correct.

Good attempt at playing innocent, Heather. Mata Hari didn't admit her skulduggery either. Including OUR CLPW CHAMP in one of the KP events would remove all suspicion. Btw, I believe there is a separate thread for discussion of the KP meet-and-greet with DDP.

One thing I have to say about POWW. They quietly go about doing their business. They rarely toot their own horns and brag about themselves. I know for a fact that Jimmy Blaze does not allow the wrestlers to bash other feds. What a refreshing change of pace, huh?

Re: UWC COLD WAR "2009" 12-12-09 « Result #27 Yesterday at 2:08pm »
MAIN EVENT NOW CONFIRMED.
The 8 man elimination match consist of team UWC with members Iceman Tim Norton,Staff SGT. Dillon Adams, Diehard Dante DVS and The UWC C.E.O Van Rivera vs. the members of Retribution but there is more to this story than meet the eye as Team UWC is in turmoil as it was apparent at last nights FEVER show when Staff SGT. Dillon Adams had a change of words with Dante DVS and then eventually lead to shoving and the 2 men traded punches after Dante accidently hit Iceman with a chair in last nights main event Tag team Championship match causing them to lose the titles to Retribution members Kongo and Motoro,
C.E.O Van Rivera went to stop the turmoil that went on with the UWC members and Kevin Ultra issued a challenge to Van and the UWC Stating that if Van cant keep UWC together than he doesn't deserve to run it!! so the match stipulation is as goes- if UWC loses the match then Kevin Ultra will become the new C.E.O of UWC renaming it the Ultra Wrestling Conglomerate, But if Van and the UWC wins the match then UWC Heavyweight Championship held by the Human Holocaust Punisher 747 will be forfeited, Kevin Ultra agreed and Punisher 747 was not happy,
Will UWC put their differences aside to defeat a common enemy or will Retribution change the face of the UWC Forever? Find out at UWC COLD WAR 2009!!!!!

Re: PCW Results 11/21 w/The Beautiful People « Result #31 Yesterday at 11:56am »
Poor December probably has not had such a bad night since she misplaced her pom-poms. But it is kind of a perverse honor to be bagged by the Beautiful People. Hope she kept the bag -- for motivational purposes.
PCW Results 11/21 w/The Beautiful People « Result #32 Yesterday at 11:11am »
Matt Creed and "Junior Varsity" Tom Heisman def. Uzi Akiva and JTW
Uzi came out with Sebastian Broadway and said that since both Broadway and Jean-Paul Basse were not medically cleared to wrestle, he'd found a new partner. This brought out JTW (formerly Julian the Warlock) along with his fellow GEN POP members: 9 mil and Mizfit Manners. The new team was certainly formidable but they were no match for PCW's hottest rising team. The end came when Creed and Heisman hit a powerbomb/diving bulldog on Akiva for the pinfall.
Jarod Priest def. Wilhelm Flannigan w/Katie Flannigan
Wilhelm put up a good fight but with the size and strength advantage in his favor Jarod eventually got the win. After the match he powerbombed Wilhelm, but then Katie got in the ring and slapped Jarod. He attacked the young lady and was about to powerbomb her, when "The Main Event" Joshua Christian came out and attacked Priest throwing him out of the ring. He then challenged Priest to take him on later that night, to which Priest accepted telling him "The road to hell is paved with good intentions".
Ring Announcer Brian was about to bring out the Beautiful People when he was interrupted by December and Jenna Monroe. December then got on the mic and told the audience she and Jenna were the real Beautiful People and they wouldn't bring out anyone else since the audience had boo'ed them. This brought out Angelina Love and Velvet Sky. They told the PCW girls that they must have been drinking too much Hater-ade as the boys in the back had already given them a warm welcome. Angelina and Velvet then told them "They could look, but they couldn't touch the Beautiful People." December and Jenna then shoved Angelina and Velvet, who responded with an attack. Kicking Jenna in the gut and then nailing a double DDT on December. The Beautiful People put the brown paper bag of shame on December, who tried to attack again and ended up running into a turnbuckle as the Beautiful People left to cheers.
Butcher def "Pocket Rocket" Eric Marx
Eric Marx told the audience that this was the second time he had faced the Butcher in this building and he would not lose a second time. He lost a second time, after the Butcher his his running stunner for the pin.
Simmons, Inc [JT Simmons, Chris Styles and Leon Tatum] Def. "Party Animal" Wally Wilde, Rick Knight and Whiplash
The PCW vets seemed to have this one sewn up when a bit of mis-communication led to their downfall. A brawl broke out and Wally Wilde and Whiplash hit a diving leg drop/frog splash combo on Leon Tatum only for the ref to let them know they and Tatum were not legal. Tatum and Simmons fought both men to the outside while Chris Styles reversed an Irish whip into a flatliner on Rick Knight to get the pinfall. After the match a frustrated Whiplash shoved Rick Knight and walked out on his partners.
Jarod Priest def. "Main Event" Joshua Christian
The Main Event has the crowd behind him and put up a good fight, but eventually Priest got him rolled up into an armbar/headlock submission and he tapped out. It looked like Priest would attack Christian, when the Butcher ran in and attacked Priest with a kendo stick. Priest ran from the ring and this led to a tense stare off between the old enemies.
Joe Heisman came out and told us that PCW officials had demanded he defend his Midwest title before the main event. Heisman agreed but only if he named a few stipulations, one being that his brother Steve put his #1 contendership on the line in an iron man match against Johnny Mac. He then named December as his opponent tonight. MIDWEST TITLE Joe Heisman(c) def. December Joe went for a punch and December fell down. He then lay down on her in a very lazy cover and got the three count. TAG TEAM TITLES Body Count(c) w/PL Myers def. Mixed Breed
It looked like Rion Skillz and Rik Rockett would regain the titles after nailing the spinebuster/diving clothesline combo on "Superbad" Santana Starks, but PL Myers got up to distract the ref and Mixed Breed. This let Daniel Allure roll in and take Starks place on the mat, and when Rockett turned back Allure rolled him up in a small package for the win. PL Myers then mocked Mixed Breed saying they'd had their rematch and LOST!
#1 Contender to Midwest Title IRON MAN MATCH "Shooting Star" Steve Heisman def. "Feature Presentation" Johnny Mac
This was a tremendous match that the audience was truly behind. Neither man was able to get a decision for the first twenty minutes, until Steve hit his inverted Unprettier and got a pinfall. This brought out Eric Marx with a water bottle and towel who revived Mac. Steve then got caught between the two as he punched Marx on the apron, then turned to punch Mac in the ring. This repeated several times until ref JH Schmidt stepped in to break it up and Steve accidently hit him. This led to ref Pat G coming out and DQ'ing Heisman leading to a 1 - 1 standing. The end came with a series of submission holds but time ran out just as Johnny Mac tapped. Pat called for sudden death and Steve was able to pin Mac for the win and to retain his Number one contendership.
HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE "Hot Bod" Shawn Davis(c) def. Joe Heisman
Heisman put on an impressive offense but it wasn't enough to defeat the champ. Shawn Davis retained with his flying elbow drop to get the pinfall.

AAW Professional Wrestling Redefined Presents: War is Coming
Friday, November 20, 2009
Davenport, IA
A nearly full house was in attendance in Davenport, IA for AAW’s War is Coming. The night began with House of Truth (Josh Raymond and Christian Able) coming to the ring. It looks as if the AAW Tag Team titles are going to be defended right off the bat! Able gets on the microphone and announces who the House of Truth is to the unfamiliar Quad Cities crowd, hyping the team up and quickly getting the fans riled up.
Christian Able talked about taking the titles from the Phoenix Twins (Tweak and Dash Phoenix) six months ago and provoked the Twins to come out and request a title shot. House of Truth insists that since they are the champions, they call the shots and the Twins will have to wait a week for their chance at the titles in Berwyn, IL. With their backs to the entrance, the Twins don’t see the Hybrids (Jason Lyte and Donovan Cain) come to the ring to attack from behind. House of Truth heads back to the locker room, and our opening match is set to begin.
The Hybrids had the advantage through a good portion of this opening contest thanks to the sneak attack to start it off. They use classic heel tactics, cutting off the ring and double teaming until a vicious tornado DDT allows for the fresh Phoenix to enter the ring. From here on out the match gets frantic, with the Twins basically taking over, though Lyte and Cain did try to get something going one last time. In the end, a double superkick from the Phoenix Twins would be the end of it, giving them the win.
Winner: The Phoenix Twins
This was a good way to open the show. It set the pace and teased not only the Tag Team Championship match to come later in the night, but next week’s match up between the House of Truth and the Phoenix Twins.
The next contest featured Johnny Wisdom taking on the mammoth “Human Massacre” Keith Walker. This match marks Walker’s return to the Quad Cities with AAW. This match is blatantly one-sided as “The Human Massacre” lives up to his name, completely decimating Johnny Wisdom.
Winner: “The Human Massacre” Keith Walker
This was a good squash match building up to the bigger match later. After completely destroying Johnny Wisdom, Walker grabs a microphone and demands to face one of AAW’s top dogs, Tyler Black. Mark Storm gets on the mic and informs Walker that Black has not arrived in the building, but we’ll see what happens when Tyler does arrive. “The Human Massacre” then proclaims that he will be out after every match until the Ring of Honor star arrives.
The next match features Knight Wagner squaring off against Matt Mayday. These familiar foes start off in a collar and elbow tie up that leads into a series of various arm wrenches, all the while the crowd taunting Wagner with “X-Pac” and “X-Pac Wannabe” chants. Both men show some strong, fast-paced offence until Knight ducks out of the ring. The ref blocks Mayday from following him out until Matt hits a baseball slide dropkick and the action moves outside the ring. Wagner used the apron to his advantage, slamming Matt Mayday’s head against it, but the fan favorite fights his way back, eventually leaping off the same apron landing in a seated position on Knight’s chest. They move back in the ring where Knight makes a come back of his own. They fight their way onto the second turnbuckle and exchange blows until Mayday is able to hit a flipping powerbomb off the ropes and into a pin, but Johnny Wisdom returns to the ring to break up the ref’s count. Wisdom’s interference is short-lived, however, as shortly after, Matt is able to latch on and hit a tornado stunner for the win.
Winner: Matt Mayday
After the match, Keith Walker makes good on his promise and takes out everyone in sight. The fans erupt shortly after as hometown favorite Tyler Black comes out and saved Matt Mayday from Walker’s wrath. Black accepts the challenge issued by “The Human Massacre” and that match is set to happen a little later on.
The last match before intermission featured Zero Gravity (CJ Esparza and Brett Gakiya) against the AAW Tag Team Champions, The House of Truth (Josh Raymond and Christian Able). Gakiya and Raymond start the match out, taking turns in a battle of one-upmanship and trying to stir a reaction from the crowd. While new to the Quad Cities crowd, the House of Truth still made quite the impression on the Davenport fans earlier in the night and it was clear they were behind Zero Gravity all the way. Things are fairly fast paced early on, going back and forth until both partners are tagged in. Esparza gains control early, but tags in Gakiya and the House of Truth takes over, dominating Zero G and effectively cutting off the ring through much of the match. When CJ finally gets tagged back in, he shows off his high-flying prowess, using speed and agility to his advantage until Raymond is able to hook a leg outside the ring, tripping up CJ Esparza. Now it’s his turn to get cut off from his partner. The crowd is desperate to rally Zero G a few times, but to no avail. Everyone pops and gives some respect to the House of Truth when Raymond lionsaults onto Gakiya, who is being held by Christian Able. Both teams work to hit some heavy offence as well as pick the pace up even more. Both members of the House of Truth, along with Brett Gakiya end up outside of the ring. HoT attempts to double team Gakiya, leaving all three prone to CJ Esparza flipping over the top rope onto them. This puts Esparza down and out. The House of Truth are the first to recover, bringing Gakiya back in the ring to finish him off and retain the AAW Tag Team Championships in an incredibly hard fought battle.
Winners: The House of Truth (Josh Raymond and Christian Able)
This match gets my top rating. It, by far, surpassed everything else during the night. This was my first time seeing House of Truth in action. I knew what kind of match to expect from Zero Gravity, having seen them a few times at SCW/PWN shows. This match definitely blew me away. On a side note, when Josh Raymond did his lionsault onto Gakiya and everyone in the crowd gave a huge, respectful pop, my daughter leaned over to me and said “but they’re the bad guys.” Ah, to be young and innocent.
Following the match, the Phoenix Twins reappeared in the ring, attacking Raymond and Able. Several officials storm the ring to break things up, HoT leaving the ring and leaving the Twins in possession of the Tag Team Championship Belts. The crowd is hot for the Twins to keep the belts, but Mark Storm intervenes again and the Twins return the titles, saying they’ll be the owners of them soon enough as the two teams are set to square off next weekend at Windy City Classic V.
Following intermission, Nick Brubaker and Juice Robinson make their way to the ring to do battle. I’ve seen both of these guys in action, but it’s been several months. I was a bit surprised when Robinson came out, because when I last saw him in action, he still had his long, blond afro-style hair. But, that has nothing to do with the match. Juice is quick to dominate Brubaker, taking things outside of the ring for a few moments. When they slide back into the ring, Robinson gets Brubaker into a position to attempt a senton, but connects only with Nick’s knees. These two are evenly matched from here on out, with the crowd solidly behind Juice Robinson. Brubaker gets the best of Robinson, however, rolling him up and grabbing a fist full of tights for a cheap victory.
Winner: Nick Brubaker
This was another well put together match, though the ending was a bit of a disappointment for me. I would have liked to see Robinson get over, especially with the crowd on his side, quite a different experience from the last time I saw him in action. However, both men did a great job, and the match served its purpose, getting Brubaker over as the heel he is.
When Keith Walker first entered the arena, he seemed to have the crowd behind him. Now things have changed. It’s clear the fans in attendance are behind the man from Davenport, IA, Tyler Black. Things start off with Walker swinging his trademark chain around. Black and the official convince Walker to put the chain away, but both turn their back on the behemoth and the “Human Massacre” quickly takes advantage, choking Tyler with his chain. Eventually the ref gets the chain away from Walker and puts it out of the equation, however the early damage has already been done.
The two men battle outside the ring where Black manages to use positioning to his advantage, ducking and dodging attacks from Walker that cause various body parts to strike solidly against the ring posts. Black slides into the ring and leaps onto the “Human Massacre,” but Walker is quick to recover, sending the Ring of Honor star into a row of empty chairs. Keith Walker uses his power and strength to keep Black grounded for most of the match, barely giving Tyler room to breath, let alone any offence. When Black starts to make a comeback, it takes some high flying offence to get Walker staggered in the corner. Tyler stomps and jumps in the corner, preparing himself for his big, charging splash, but Walker recovers and steamrolls Black in the corner as soon as he turns around. The “Human Massacre” is having trouble putting Black away and his frustration shows. The two men battle their way onto the 2nd turnbuckle where they exchange blows until Black pushes Walker off directly onto the referee. Black sets up for a flying elbow but Walker rolls out of the way and Tyler collides with the ref instead, take him out. “The Human Massacre” grabs a chair, but a second ref comes in to stop him from using it. He gets knocked out by Walker for his troubles. A third ref comes in to ring the bell while several people rush into try and get the chair from Keith Walker. In the end, Black sends a kick into the chair, hitting it against Walker’s face.
Results: No Contest
This is a great build up for what is sure to be a lasting rivalry. This match had some strong moments and shows the resilience of Tyler Black. Whether the Ring of Honor star can win against a behemoth like Keith Walker is yet to be seen, but these two have potential to blow the roof off of things.
The Main Event didn’t even get fully out of the locker room before it started. Danny Daniels makes his way to the ring and is quickly blindsided by Marek Brave. The fight does not even enter the ring for the first 5-10 minutes as Brave and Daniels clear the seats battling around the ring. The crowd is on their feet following the action and trying to stay out of the way as these two dangerous men take turns driving each other into the concrete floor, the wall, the steel chairs around the ring, everything possible. And what better place for this Quad Cities Street Fight to go then out onto the streets. Brave and Daniels battle in the parking lot of the venue for several minutes, using anything to their advantage. When they finally get back inside, they make their way into the ring and Daniels is in complete control, but Marek hits a big time spear that grounds both of them. Brave recovers first and sets Daniels up for a superplex before dropping out of the ring to get some wood. Marek sets the table up in the corner looking to do some damage to Danny Daniels, but Nick Brubaker returns to ringside to interfere on Danny’s behalf. Marek manages to fight them both off at first, hitting Daniels with a piledriver, but can’t get the three count. The two men continue back and forth with the crowd hungry to see the table used. Daniels brings a chair into the ring, but Brave is up in time to stop him from using it. They struggle over control of the chair with Marek coming away with it, but when he swings for Daniels, DD ducks, causing Brave to take out the ref. Daniel’s gets control of the match at this point, using the chair to hit a piledriver for the win.
Winner: Danny Daniels
Both men put on a great show here and fought hard. They gave the crowd almost everything they wanted during the match, fighting in the crowd, in the ring, in the parking lot. After the match, Marek recovers while Danny is celebrating. Daniels turns around and gets another massive spear through the table still set up in the corner. The crowd is ecstatic as the table gets used to close the show.
I have to say this was a very good show. Getting to see many wrestlers I was familiar with from my days with PWN as well as a few new talents made the night worth while. The match between House of Truth and Zero Gravity blew the roof off the place with fans showing respect for both teams as they went the distance. I’m hoping to make it out to Berwyn next week for the Windy City Classic V, but if I don’t make it there, AAW returns to the Quad Cities on January 15th, 2010.
